WHAT DOES A NUTRITIONAL THERAPY CONSULTATION INVOLVE?

A consultation lasts an hour and 15 minutes. It will involve a questionnaire detailing your food and lifestyle habits, and a medical and family history.

You will also be asked to complete a detailed food diary. If you wish, your height and weight can be recorded. From this information the nutritional therapist will analyse your individual nutritional needs and agree changes to your diet.

Your nutritional therapist will be happy to discuss any issues you may have such as shopping difficulties or recipes. After your first consultation you will be given information to help you with the changes.

The number of consultations you need depends on your particular circumstances.
