WHAT IS NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?

Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of optimum health, peak prformance, and disease prevention (British Association for Nutritional Therapy).

The food we eat is the basis of our health and wellbeing. The essential nutrients we get from fresh food allow our body and mind to perform at the peak of their ability. Nutritional Therapy not only addresses the food we eat, but also lifestyle, attitudes and the environment in order to restore and maintain the body's optimum function.

WHY CHOOSE NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?

The body has its own capability to overcome disease. However, our modern lifestyles have affected how and what we eat. Stress and pollution can have a detrimental effect on our health, and poor quality processed food is the norm. Nutritional Therapy can help to prevent our physical and mental health being undermined by these external influences.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?

Everyone can benefit from it. Nutritional Therapy analyses each individual's situation and requirements, and treats holistically, aiming to identify the root of problems and using food to treat the person as a whole. Nutritional Therapy is effective for any age, sex, lifestyle and health status.
